Yes - it was a completed sale so IMO it should stay on the site and I should be able to easily leave a bad feedback and see it in my purchase history. If it wasn't sold I would agree it should be removed right away so no one gets scammed.

SA, Have you clicked the ebay tab then click on purchase history and scroll down to the bottom of the page to check if the transaction is still shown on your account?

Thanks. PayPal came through for my refund so I'm happy. I just don't know how this guy keeps getting away with it. The listing is always from MN with the same item and pics.

How can he keep doing this I reported it as fraudulent activity. How is this guy making money off this scam to keep doing it?

Bobby this same guy keeps making listings for 40 eagles for $485. It's a pretty amazing price so usually they sell quick. He never ships the item though and tries to steal the buyers money. He keeps listing them every week or so. I got scammed last week but PayPal refunded me.

I get that, but what in the listing is fraudulent if you don't know any of this? There's nothing on ebay's end to see with this seller.

Do a search for 40 silver eagles for $485 and take your pick. There's been a ton of 0 feedback profiles from MN scamming people with this exact listing. If that's not fraud I don't know what is..

How do I look at any of those listings and say "fraud" that's my point. Unless you're privy to the info someone like you has it looks like any other listing.

Probably part of how he keeps getting away with it unfortunately.

Mostly I did it so they take a look at it. There is a option to report that the seller doesn't really have a item. I would assume after this happening over ten times a month with a new seller that they would start to look at it. It has the classic look of a scam, same generic pictures, highly desirable item for half price to sell fast. New seller selling high cost items without any reviews. I wish eBays reporting process would let you writing in stuff yourself. I get afraid that it's just a automated thing where no real people look at it. Just after so many reports it kills the listing.
