Quote: So if it was the same exact picture and color as a 1974 aluminum penny but weighs 3.1g its not one of the many many different metal trials that took place? Correct.

Thats a loaded question, but the one I have looked at has everything but the weight, but I have read many many related articles and documents and there were a very few that were the restored weight of 3.1g so I'm a believer that it is real!

There is no way an aluminum cent would weigh that much unless its size (diameter and thickness) increased as well. You cannot alter the laws of physics.
It is a real 95% copper cent that someone plated or coloured.

I think if the OP does not want the opinions of the people on this forum then someone should lock this thread. OP the only thing you should do is put your money where your mouth is and send the coin into be authenticated by a TPG. obviously you wont accept anyone's opinion here.

After all the "Bagging" that R1974 got on his thread pertaining to his 1992p Close AM coin, Can you blame him?

That link says nothing about the weight.

We still haven't seen a pic of it, just a cert number. Typically when it's like pulling teeth getting info or pics there's a reason.

He did this with his 92 can that he supposedly has and has yet to provide evidence after 12 pages. I see same issue here. Same story. He probably reply with comments that we are bad people instead of providing pics dragging it on for pages and pages like u said pulling teeth because he probably doesn't actually have them... same story and if we are wrong take pic of coin! But if he just replies we are bad people than we have our answer FAKE! Let's await his reply actual evidence or him replying with comments because he doesn't have the coin dragging on and on asking for pics of coin he probably doesn't have One why he can't post pictures because he doesn't have them

If it weighs 3.1 grams it is a normal penny worth 1c.

Quote: Thanks trout I'm gonna walk away from this one I know what I have, Of course you're going to walk away. The real thing to do would be to act like an adult and post one of the many, many links you say there are that some of these aluminum cents are 3.1 grams. Instead you act like a child and take your coin and go home.
