Quarters make good smaller rings size 5 and bellow with this method. to get a size 83/4 I need something half dollar sized.

From start to finish about five hours trying to shave time off by hammering harder and faster just ruins the ring lol.

Conner Not really I do it as a hobby more than anything and I have a hard time keeping up with demand. So a web site would turn it into work. What size would you be looking for?

I've found 20C Phillippine pieces easy to work You can get them abit over spot w/ a strong date & have the US devices intact. Particullary true w/40s era. Please do PM me if stuff doesn't pan out.

Richard...I looked at a few ring sizing charts online and I think I would be a size 11-12. Would you happen to have any this size?

11-12 is certainly possible but it would not have the tire type shape. it would look more like this unless you went to a Morgan sized coin

That 1982 ring is impressive. I am amazed at how you can get the date and text clear like that.

As a matter of interest, what was the original donor coin? It strikes me as unusual to have modern date of 1982 with the old text of "BRITT OMN REX". Did you change the date?
