A plus usually puts the retail price in between the non-plus grade and the point higher.

I agree with Cascade with, the plus sign can put the price, for this coIn, between MS64 and MS65,
Looking at it that way ... The plus and the toning ... The price is looking ... Not to bad.
I am curious what Larry Lee will be pricing his 1885CC's at. I think I got a very good price on mine ($600) .. With no toning.

Wow...$600 for a GSA 85 cc? I would say that was an outstanding price!

I think 600 dollars is very good for an 85CC GSA coin. I'll have to keep that number in mind when I go back in there. What grade is your 85? Can you post a pic? Thanks!

It was one of those right place at right time buys.
I have been offered much more.
I do like GSA's ... Hope to get more in the future.

Oh, wow, you need to get that graded. It looks like it's MS65 DMPL. You got that for 600? What a blue light special!!

But really no need to get it graded. This is a coin I don't think I will ever sell. This past year or so I have been trying to complete a full set of Morgan's (not counting the 1895), I think I need 5 more. I feel most of my Morgan dollars will be part of my core collection that I will pass down.

What part of Florida are you in, GR58? I'm down here in Panama City for the winter, heading back in early March.
Is that coin PL or DMPL?

It's either pl or dmpl but you can't really tell in straight photos without showing how reflective the fields are as its about the depth of the mirrors

GR, even if it is a technical 64 I can see it easily getting the 65 bump

In hand, I am sure it would not make DMPL ...not even sure it would make PL. if they put Cameo on the label .. I would go with that.
I think the hit .. Mark .. On reverse between "ONE" and "Dollar" Would hold back the grade ... But have been told it might be a Planchet flaw .....
