I am devastated.

After spending days hung up in Rochester, NY, my package finally arrived today. It was an open, empty box with a sticker on it claiming it was received that way.

Shame on you, shipping service (might I say NOT the seller )
Terrible seller. 0 Star negative feedback and open a case with ebay.

I don't think it was the seller. The seller has 54,000+ feedback with 100%. If it was the seller's fault, it was likely in the packaging...although the box should have easily supported this many coins. I think USPS grabbed the contents.

What?

Because seller controls how the USPS handles packages?

Really, I never have problems like this. What gives lately... I think your saving grace is that little sticker that says received without contents or whatever. Send that pic to ebay and you should be good

This is my second destroyed/stickered box this month. The first one contained a 1909-S VDB! Luckily, that one still had its contents in perfect condition!

I'm not worried about getting my money back on this one. I have complete trust in any seller with that kind of volume. I just really wanted the coins and not a refund! When I messaged the seller, I specifically asked if there was stock that could be substituted in lieu of a refund. With as much volume as they do, it might be possible that they have more.

That stinks. When you said "Rochester" my flags went up. I think there's a lot written about that lousy facility. Almost everything I ship has to go through there, and when it clears, I go "whew." Hope you get your money back soon.

Truthfully, that's the kind of buyer there should be an ebay punishment for. The seller did NOTHING wrong and he has a good reputation. I say this because I've been dinged a couple of times by psychopaths on ebay.

The FIRST STEP is to contact the seller, not run to Mommy crying.

Exactly. I think sometimes you have to be a seller in order to understand the struggles of being a seller.

I know, I know, I know... I dont know what I was saying when I typed that. I really dont, seeing as I'm a seller on ebay as well. I appologize, and I shouldn't have typed that. IMHO, I wouldntve taken my own advice. sorry
