Joachim, welcome to the forum and good luck with your quest. If you have Mercedes eyes but a honda wallet (as so many of us do), you could consider buying a jeton or token containg the word Joachimsthaler. It looks like some were made in 1975 in Berlin. The company appears to be "Ku'dorf" although my German is not very good. Best of luck!

Thank yall for taking an interest.

Special thanks to Hnry! (Thinking about selling a celebration medalion of the 1884 national ammendments of Norway, that is of 14k solid gold that I purchased for about $1750..that should do it if I can find a buyer).

Would anyone care to check out this one?:

This is getting somewhat personal, but at the same time it is a good story and a little bit "conspiratoric" :-)

As I´ve told you, my name is Joachim. The woman that has touched my loving heart the deepest, her name is Thale, and I happen to be a coin collector, hence: Joachimsthaler. But it does´nt stop there because my surname is Grøndahl which means green (dale) valley. As many of you would know the word Thaler or Taler (if it´s german it starts with a capital T, but I believe it´s Chechian though the taler sprung out of a need for a common European currency during the late time of the Roman empire..bla..bla) is of course the origin of the name; dollar, means valley. (Within this particular paradigm, I can see no further:-).
