371023554645 Reverse is a mess on this one, and still sold for under $70, probably $50

Haha, are you trying to say I endlessly scour ebay myself? Lol. I barely spend 20 minutes on the site a day lol.

Sorry. You must have a pretty good and efficient search algorithm.

Nice 1896 -- even circulation wear, original surfaces and toning. Solid VF20 IMO. An excellent pickup, along with the 1889.

I have bought (no auction action though) through Executive Coin before and they are good folks to deal with.

^^ Agree. I've bought quite a few bargain bin and regular coins from them and always been happy with the coins. Sometimes their "bargain bin" coins are actually quite nice.

Sadly, it was a great buy, but I'm afraid it got lost in the mail.

UPDATE: It arrived, the letter was ripped, but all the coins arrived. I got a $22.50 refund and am in the process of working out a deal with the seller since I don't feel right getting these for free - I'll be giving him $11.25 instead.

If all the coins were received, why not return the full amount?

I agree. It wasn't the seller's fault they were lost. I'd return the amount in full back to the seller.
