It's still illegal to sell them under the Hobby Protection Act of 1973

Interesting twist, he allows local pick up of items that aren't legal to sell. Might be interesting if someone could arrange to do a local pick up with the accompaniment of LEO.

Wow, I see the listings have been removed. The seller had sold 3 1879 CC for $120 each within an hour.

I think this is a great thread. I'm gonna do some research on that " Hobby protection act" I am curious.. That doesn't apply to items that are stamped "copy" does it? I find a few Comtemporary Counterfits when it comes to the CSA Notes.. I take it that's Illegal too?

Sorry for 3 posts in a row but I cant edit... CSA Notes probably wouldn't matter because they are Confederate and the US Govt never acknowledges The Confederate States as a legit government so that would probably make it ok because they aren't worth face value anymore anyway..

161985301369281941915377 ebay has been surprisingly rather clean of counterfeits since the fall of the counterfeit sub-forum, which is interesting, and makes me wonder if someone else is cracking down, or the people that Bobby reached out to finally are doing something and/or have contacted other employees.
