Quote: I emailed my rep, he said he will sent me the missing coin cards. Perhaps you can also contact your rep about this? 'ditto'... In addition, I requested another 3 Star Trek 20/4/20's but was denied - "A strict limit of 5 coins - even for Master's Club" so I went online with another email address, and got 5 more ordered

Here is a pic of both cases side by side. Yes I know I have two 25 for 25 coins in a 20 for 20 case. Just for clarity, the Lighthouse Volterra case is not really wooden as suggest here ( https://goccf.com/t/254548&whichpage=2#2146153 ). It may be a pressed wood chips and glue product but it is very light and definitely not solid wood. It obviously has no place for the certificates but the other thing that surprised me is that the coins are about as loose in the Lighthouse case as they are in the RCM case. Overall, I can't pick a winner between the two cases.

But the padding in the lid ensures they won't fall out or get jostled around. In my opinion the LHC case is a far superior product and a better investment. If the Mint sticks with 5 coins rather than for each of the the next two years, I'll have a complete eight year set by the end of 2018. The cards, large or small fit nicely most of the shipping boxs or large envelopes and don't take up that much room.

Has anyone received a replacement box yet? I'm wondering if they're better quality

Curious, has anyone received the reprinted canoe coa? My mint order history shows an open order from April. Five months seems like ample time to print and mail a piece of cardboard.

I gave up on the series over this long ago. These should take no more than a coupe weeks to replace

Hi CC-Ottawa. I too am still waiting too and have an open order. What about the cases? I think it was mentioned that there was going to be a slightly better designed case that would hold the coins better. Has anyone returned the original case to get the better one.

When one of my orders sat for a month in processing status for no obvious reason, this worked for me. No reply but it was shipped the next day. Yours was a replacement, but still....It seems as if unprocessed orders from time to time fall into a deep dark pit. http://www.mint.ca/store/mint/custo...BDAF.node1-1Under " How can we help you?" Select "Shipping/delivery". Then "Product on Backorder too long" quoting the order number and date, inquiring when delivery might be expected.

I sent the original case back months ago and indicated I wanted a refund rather than wait for the new case. However 3-4 weeks ago, I received a parcel delivery notice via FedEx. It was a replacement case that I didn't order. Since I wasn't home when the delivery was attempted, it got sent back to the mint. Turns out, the delivery also had other items I didn't order in it as well. I've since been credited for the mistake.

A surprise in the mail this morning. I received 5 replacement 'folders' for the 20/4/20 Canoe coins, that should fit the case for the coins.

I received my replacement holders too. My 8 year old son was wondering which one of his holders would be the "more rare one"? I would think there would be less of the reprints. On another note, I see that some people on ebay are selling the latest 25 for 25 coin, "The Woodland Elf". I could see lots of these in kids stockings for Christmas.

I bought several of the coins back in 2011 but only received one reprint so I assume that is because I only bought one box. Makes sense. If that's the case, then the reprints will be much more 'rare' since the Mint sold 244k of the coins yet I'm sure they didn't sell that many boxes....especially since the box was original supposed to be limited to 7k units even though they later took off that restriction. I was kind of disappointed that the reprint had Ian Bennett's signature rather and Sandra Hanington's. That would have been an interesting reprint. The Elf is not bad at all.
