No doubt, the rest of the coin is a beauty.

Ms 60 too many marks and LOTS of that yellow scum that is quite common on George VI halves and Dollars . It DOES not come off and NGC and PCGS will NO Grade these.

That's not yellow scum... That's a reflection from the ceiling light in my dining room... This dollar is ALL mint luster! But it is scratched

MS62 Lots of marks but well struck. A rather pedestrian money coin. Bring on the '47's They sound interesting
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

I agree with DBM, MS62 all day. Look's to be a clean coin and should grade no problem both NGC and PCGS.

I agree, a very well struck coin. I think it has good eye appeal as well. The angle of the photo really emphasises the blemishes and gives the appearance of uneven toning IMO. A perpendicular shot would give us a better idea of the condition of the coin.
I also look forward to seeing the other coins!

I will see if he lets me bring the rest of the coins home tomorrow... I mean he let me borrow the most expensive of the group I doubt he'll have a problem with the others...

Ok new pictures! but not the best lighting... still learning... I think they are very honest about the condition of the coins though... they show an accurate amount of the flaws.

Way better pictures still shows PVC issues, no way this thing is better than 60 . Now not even sure it is new. Also the minor rim nicks on reverse do not help the overall eye appeal.

The scratch on the EOR of GEORGE isn't as noticeable as the lighting in the pictures make it look... it is there, it is in the field only, doesn't show on the letters... I will tell you when these coins came in I cringed, because they were all in a ziplock baggie... made me cry a little... they dollars that came in were the higher value coins, but the halves that came in are all gorgeous

Most of the rim dings and some of the scratches must have occurred during the ziplock trip to the store, oh well.
