to CCF And a shout out to the LCS that - instead of a low ball offer - created a new collector!

We look forward to hearing about your 7070 adventure. As for fakes, they are out there but the vast majority of them are easy to spot with some experience. Ask here for good opinions.

To CCF And congrats on starting a 7070. The very curious part is ... you walked into a coin shop and walked out with a 7070 album WOW .... they are hard to find ... I hope you post some pictures of your progress as you fill it.

Welcome aboard. Type set collecting is great way to start out for a beginner. You get to see all the variety and determine what you are interested in. Don't worry too much about fakes on ebay. This place and the hive mind will help you spot them out before purchasing them. Just post the pics here and you will get all the help you need.

The 7070 album wasn't new - it had coins already in it! Mostly modern, but a few others. So a great deal for me. Dale at Antioch Coins in California has been really great at providing an education on the coins.
