I've always went back after I got silver in change and bought something else hopin there's a drawer full. It's only worked once,got a silver quarter went back and a dime and another quarter.

Ive found quite a bit of silver in change over the last few years. I can hear it when it's being pulled from the register! :) My wife had also trained her ear!

Considering you might have to go through 40 bank rolls of dimes to find one silver...that's pretty great to get it in change with no "roll hunting" effort at all ! Nice ! ---
