Crop out all the background, rotate the view to appear upright. We can work with that.

Jeez. Wish there was some way to get better pics. That almost looks like a doubled die

I think if it were the DD, we would see evidence of it in (for example} the sharp-appearing "In God We Trust", so I'm guessing it's not.

You have a 1955 Wheat cent, looks like it has taken a good lick and the rim is dented. Post mint damage. Is there something in particular you are seeing on the coin? In this condition unless I'm missin somethin usually worth 2 to 3 CENTS.

One of the people commented earlier and thought maybe it might possible be a double dyed but they weren't sure do to picture quality. I wasn't sure myself when I look it up Lincoln himself fits description of a double dyed but I don't see much on letters and year possibly on the last last five so just was seeing if anyone else had opion onit.

No the pictures are hard to see but if it was a major doubled die we would see it. Unfortunately it isn't and with the condition if it was one of the minor ones it still wouldn't be worth but a couple bucks. I keep all my wheat pennies anyways. And just for future information it would be called doubled die. The die is what is used to make the coin and it being doubled is what makes the error.

Welcome to CC! Just a regular Wheat cent you have there, worth about 3 cents.

Thank you everyone on your inputs. I will be continuing to collect what I come across. I do retail and see different coins all the time especially with the travelers. I have a good verity of wheat pennies to just old pennies that I've saved, along with 2 dollar bills, also a 1 dollar bill that appears to maybe have a letter higher/smaller in serial number but then again I'm not expert so I could be way off!
