What da H---? I posted first but I do not claim the prize. The next in line can have it. In fact, the prize was never defined. If you had defined the prize as "double eagle" or "lunch with Angelina Jolie" then yes, my post would have read "me me me". Now please someone answer my original question. What are the PIF rules and where is it posted on this website?
As for voting, come November 4th, please do vote. Vote early and often.

This whole thing had kinda gone crazy people Hows abouts a do over since both parties I believe accept that fact that there was a slight lack of communication that caused the confusion. The initial intention of this "contest" was to have a fun and slightly organized way to pass on coins to people...now it's turning into politics

I made I false assumption by thinking that this forum also applied to the 50 post rule. Since this rule does not apply, I think deadmunny is the winner.

FYI - in case it was not clear - all of my comments were made in good fun. By all means Deadmummy was the first to post.
In the other post MintMarq said something about "Pay-it-forward-Gate". That made me laugh, so my post from last night was taken from Nixon's resignation speech when he was handing over the office to Ford in 1974 after the Watergate scandle.
Deadmummy - the only thing you have to agree to do is to hold another contest and send a coin to the first poster. If I was a deadmummy (which I'm not, I'm a Karrlot) I would take the prize, and if you like it keep it and send another coin to someone else. If you don't like it hold another contest and send the same coin you get to someone else. The worst you could be out is postage for a coin.

Not so fast everyone! I think we need to ask the admins to do an audit of the posting que to ascertain that in fact Deadmunny's post was the first to arrive on the forum and not erroneously inserted before Karrlot's post by CCF gremlins. Actually I think at this point both should be rewarded for their unselfish actions and contributions to forum humor. This would also create another PIF opportunity. Anyone for another poll on this?

It should be Deadmunny. The spirit and the intent is the first to respond and not the content of their response.

Thanks lonnie. Hopefully now that we've heard it from the original author, PIF can proceed.

Okay I have read and now understand the rules.
As far as this contest goes, you can do it over or award it to karrlot. I don't know what the big deal is. I originally said "I am not claiming the win".
Karrlot, when was your last visit to the optometrist? There are no M's in my nick. :-)

In an unexpected turn of events, it appears that deadmunny (with one M as in dead presidents, not dead Pharaohs ) has turned down the land slide victory. Email is now being sent to Karrlot. Thanks for the laughs everyone. See you on level 2 Ken

Has Level 1 PIF stalled or what?
No action since 15 Feb, when karrlot was awarded the win. It may need to be re-started if karrlot has also dropped out. Surely his 'prize' has reached him by now & PIF #27 should have begun.
MINT_MARQ, did you get karrlot's address & send his winnings?

Yeah, I'm guessing Ken did, but I haven't seen karrlot around lately....

Yes Karrlot confirmed that he received his prize about a week after the end of the contest. He said he was trying to figure out what to send....I am not sure why there has been such a delay.
