It's a beauty so far. Is your goal to actually someday fill every one of those holes? Some of the early issues are CRAZY expensive.

Right now, I have counterfeits in some of those really hard holes to make the holes a little less unsightly.

I have to ask. On your counterfeits did you purchase on purpose or get duped on trying to make a cheep score?

I bought them on purpose directly from the no-no site.

I have wondered about the pre 1800 coins, but I may have to wait a bit. Very nice progress! Good luck with your last coin (for the 7070 standards anyways).

There are 11 spots in this type of album that would take some deep pockets to fill. It would be daunting to say the least.
You have a real good start with some nice examples in this set and please keep us updated on your progress!

That is going to be a lifetime project with all of those tough types. Congrats for deciding that you wanted to pursue such a daunting set. Personally in my collections, a few holes don't bother me much.

Nice set! There are a lot of old varieties in there.

Technically $143, but I have $38 in it.

A wonderful set to be sure. As you can tell from my username, this kind of thing gets me excited!
I haven't seen this Library of Coins album displayed in this much detail before. Is that a vintage copy, or are they still printing these? My 7070 is full (favorite part of my collection by far), but I do wish it included a few other varieties than it does (very lacking on early quarters in particular). However, the album you have would be altogether impossible for someone like me to fill!
