Its the first clipped Canberra I've seen. I think it would grade at PCGS but perhaps only AU58. Again - would be nice to see a proper pic of the whole coin.

OK,just going on last photo Coin looks like its been 'dipped',who knows exactly what mixture.I'm not sure that's a clip either, looks like part of the rim has broken off for whatever reason. After saying all that I'm sure one of our more knowledgeable members will express an opinion on your Coin.

I have a Canberra florin that is remarkably similar to yours except for the clip. A perfect strike and full 3 steps also very little wear evident, Unfortunately mine had been polished just like yours has going by your latest image.

This is a genuine clip. The Blakesley effect won't be present in every clip. With a clip this small, if there's a Blakesley effect, it will be very small. It is present in this coin, under the L of "florin".

Another good way to determine if a clip is genuine is to look at where the metal on the rim meets the clip. The inward taper of the metal on this coin is typical of a genuine clip. As SlurExe97 stated the Blakesley effect on a clip this small is minimal.

Ok,but there is no weakness of strike around the 'çlip',the first thing a Dealer or Numismatist looks for.I'll throw these Pics. up for future ref. Gutshot, can you throw up a scan(600dpi or+)of both sides of Coin.Printer with Scanner is A$40 in Oz. these days.
