Welcome to the forum! Not sure what Close AM you are speaking of on the '84's but post some pics in a new thread in the error and variety forum for some responses

Welcome aboard.
I usually advise new collectors to be sure to save the nicest coin they find but you're obviously way past this.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

I don't know, there's already a bunch of collector's. I guess it won't hurt to let one more in.

Seems a funny thing happened on the way to our forum. The coin bug can bite anyone, anytime, and we welcome all new members with questions regarding their new-found quests. You're searching for the perfect coin... I think we all are! Your first considerations are AM varieties of LMCs. There are many threads... just search on "AM" and you'll have your start. Good pics are a must; there are threads under photography for that too! The forum is a great resource and cure for the coin bug!

Welcome first of all .... As far as a value on the 1984 d Close AM.... There are no close OR Wide AM's that I know about for that year. So if you have one....hmmm But if I'm wrong, and some are known to exist, we need pics to see, to give you a value of course. If none are known to exist and you have a legitimate one, would be highly interesting to see value projections. Sending it off to get it officially certified would be a first step...that's my advice "if" you have one.
