24g is quite low, however your coin is very worn. Look very closely under a magnifying glass in the spaces inside letters (like the 'hole' in the 'R' in 'DOLLAR') in between the denticles along the rim, and in the details in the feathers. If you see little 'bubbles' of metal in these spaces coming up above the level of the field, or perfectly round depressions that are not flush with the surface of the coin then it is definitely a fake. These bubbles/depressions form when molten silver is poured into a mold - something that is physically impossible when the features are formed by the metal flowing into the spaces in a die.

Also, if a coin is counterfeit and the composition of the metal is different the original then it will sound different when dropped on a hard surface like tile or a ceramic counter top. Take a couple of your Morgans that are *not* in high condition and drop them. Silver has a beautiful, high-toned ring. A fake will most likely have a duller, low-toned ring when dropped.

Also, check youtube. There are several videos that will help you to identify fakes.

Thanks everyone, I was just concerned that the weight was low.. but the high amount of wear explains it. Not the best looking coin but I'm glad to hear I didn't get ripped off at the price I paid.

It looks real to me and a great buy at $15. 24g would be low for a morgan with that level of wear but the scale weights in 2g increments. It is not precise enough to come to any conclusions based on weight. If it weighed 24g on a scale with a resolution of 0.1g or less, then I would be worried.
