@yotie: Nice! Do you have a 1976 series $2.00 bill? It would work well in your set as Jefferson was front and center in John Trumball's painting that was used on the back of the bill.

You could also add Jefferson's Presidential medal that was struck by the US Mint. They can usually be found for a reasonable price in either the small (1-5/16") or large (3") size.

Do-You-Add-Commemorative-Tokens-To-Your-Commemorative-Coins? Do-You-Add-Commemorative-Tokens-To-Your-Commemorative-Coins?

Some people think that the design for the Lafayette Dollar was "borrowed" from this piece, the Yorktown commemorative medal, which issued during the 100th anniversary of the battle.

There a many items like this that have some relationship to one of the commemorative coins. I have only scratched the surface of this phase of the hobby.

Somewhere I have a 1961 Kansas token that says it's made from silver. I'll have to post it when I find it.

I picked up some medals last week and with the help of
a couple CCF members I learned they are medals that
are sold at national parks.

I thought I would share how they connect to some of my
commemorative dollars.
