I agree thedollarman that these aren't the best pics. I should have opted for a smaller pic with better resolution. Next time I'll know. Thanks for the constructive criticism. It's much appreciated.

PCGS actually graded this coin MS-63. But I don't think it would be out of place in a 64 holder. Thanks everyone for your input.

Peter4805- Great coin! I'm rather surprised that it didn't make MS64

Might be worth resubmitting, the value doubles in MS-64 and unless your photos were misleading us, it seems a very likely candadate for an upgrade.

After viewing the photos here and through the PCGS certificate verification site along with the auction photographs I would agree with your assessment Peter. A very solid coin. Not your average 63. Well done.

I find this coin much easier to grade (now) in the last photo showing it with the PCGS holder..You just see the surface in that last photo so much better...Very nice ...

Probably a coin you have to have in hand. Perhaps a classic case for 63+. There's a lot of chatter in the fields and portrait if you really examine all the photos, and that gash over by the R in REX catches my eye. Still, a nice coin.

While the fields are clean, PCGS really looks at marks on the devices. Your best shot for an upgrade would be a PCGS Walkthrough at a major coin show - with a "crappy" MS-64 to go through with it.

What a beaut, sure wish I could find one of these, I'd settle for an MS 55 or 60 at the right price...sigh...
