I'm assuming that you have to return it if you want your money back per the 14 day return policy. Where do you ship it back to? China?

I didn't get it yet. Wonder what shipping is to China and if that would eat up half my refund? The seller won't answer my emails I figure I will need to follow up with ebay when I get it. I mean why would he bother to return the money? I'm wondering if he hacked an old unused ebay ID

For what it's worth, the coin in the photo looks genuine and the price was pretty good. Hopefully that is what you will receive; if not, you are protected. Not sure how the return shipping works out but if the item is not as described you should get reimbursed for all costs by PayPal.

The photo looked good to me to but I see they sold three of them so unless that photo is of all three what am I getting?
When what I do get finally shows up I will post some pics so we can all see
I know very little about counterfeiting low grade coins like this I mean $22 counting shipping isn't all that far off the melt price which is about $14 so I doubt they use silver if they did where would the profit be? Some kind of white metal with lead mixed in to make it weight correctly? Or don't they bother with the weight? This should weight pretty close to 412 grains

So my "Chinese Morgan" comes in tomorrow (wonder if it is any connection to Chinese Gordon he was contemporary) so I can post some pics. ebay pulled the listing yesterday even though it was closed whatever that means. I am assuming one of the other suckers (oops buyers) got his coin. Anyway they said on the phone they would reimburse me the return shipping cost and the purchase price

Quote: it is a fake and why? What is the thickness compared to an authentic Morgan dollar? (this assumes the weight is correct) Also, I believe it is against the law to ship/mail counterfeit currency.

Thicker first thing I noticed
And I doubt that any government agency will try to track this back to China and prosecute

You should not be required to break the law to be reimbursed.

You can do that. So ebay isn't making you return it?

There should be no need to return it. And regardless, you don't have to pay for return shipping.

No they tried to process a return but for some reason seems they can't contact the seller. Looks to me like he hacken an old ID, popped on to make a few quick sales, and dropped
