ANACS seems to be tough on these, MS-62.

I'll guess MS64RD though it would likely be RB today.

My photography skills probably didn't help this coin any. I purchased it for $39.50 so I feel I didn't do too bad on it and I like the small ANACS holders.

Nice coin! Your pics don't tell the story. Your slab pic is better, you might try backing away and then cropping to get more representative pictures.

From your image, this coin is in range of AU58-MS63RB.
People would hesitate to buy this as a typical MS65RB example. The wheat line has obvious scruff marks if they are not on the holder. So could be over graded 2 points higher at ANACS, which happens all the time for well connected dealers. This is why PCGS>NGC>>ANACS

If you buy a bunch of ANACS coins, a few will cross at PCGS, and majority will be graded 1 or 2 grades lower. This is why ANACS coins move 1 or 2 points lower on ebay or other markets.

Completely agree, well said. ANACS grading costs less because the results are worth less.

The old small ANACS holders usually have accurately graded coins. I've crossed a couple at PCGS at the same grade. And speaking of TPG giving high grades to well connected dealers? PCGS leads the pack.

I used process of elimination to come up with the grade I was going to a point or two lower but that was already stated and op said no one got it yet
