What a birthday surprise! I went by a bank today and found a full roll of wheat cents! No errors, but still an awesome find! I'm gonna go back and check the bank again tomorrow.

I was buying Austrlian sovereigns at 16, but I had an advantage: I had a nicely paying job (employed by my father), in my high school days, from 12 years old. Still avidly collecting coins with the new enthusiasm of a kid, more than 50 years later.

I see that with the assistance of your mom, you are on the right track!

Happy Birthday.

Congrats on the license.

Nice coin pickups too.

Lots of independence and responsibility with the car.

Now if I were 16 today and still were growing, I know what I wish I could do over with my life.

I'd hit the gym and hit it hard.

Squat
Deadlift
Bench
Rows
Military Press
Lat Pullover

Don't do what I did and most kids your age do in the gym and go for the big chest and guns and ignore legs and back.

The big compound moves I listed above will grow you as fast as you can eat at that age.

Never had bigger arms in my life than when I stopped curling and started deadlifting.

Ladies don't realize it but they actually prefer big leg and back muscles to the big guns anyway or so it seems from my observation and over generalization. . . .

Best gift / advice I could give myself so I share it with you today.

Happy Birthday.

Congratulations! I just turned 16 on Friday. I still need to schedule my driving test, but I passed the written on the first attempt in June.

Congrats on turning 16 and on getting your drivers licence,be careful out there. Your MD is a good model to start out with. Once you find some good stuff you could upgrade to a Model 350.
