Thank you for that. It is my very opinion that everybody are able to learn a lot about numismatics. I am not sure how much I am going to use this forum, time will tell. I do like to help others with questions about coins, most likely to be Scandinavian coins. In that way I feel it will be more okay for me to ask stupid questions about US coins etc. |

Velkomst Prncoins! My great-grandfather was a wonderful man, whom I admired and respected as a youngster. He was born in the U.S. in 1888, one year after his parents emigrated from Denmark. He passed on many tales about the old country from his parents, and I most definitely inherited the Danish love of coffee from him. ;-) Just yesterday I did some initial reading about Danish coins thinking I might want to collect some given my heritage. So your expertise will be most welcome here!  ~ Markus (actually 'Mark' but I like the Danish version ;o)

Btw.. I only have a very few coins in my collection, due to the fact that most of the coins I can afford is not the same coins that I dream of. I mainly collect numismatic litterature with the main emphasis on old and new auction catalogues with important Danish and Norwegian coins.
