What did the listing promise that you didn't get (or why will you leave a negative feedback)?

Discovered a box of Wheat penny rolls. Different colored rolls, but all marked "wheat". Rolls appear to have been taped shut years ago (see pictures) Opened a couple and found the many penny were pre 1940s, also discovered a number of pennies from the 1910s. Most looked to be in fair to great condition.
Some of these rolls appear to be over stuffed, meaning there are more than 50 in a roll.
I can gaurentee there will be 50 OR MORE pennies in each roll.

A. There weren't 50 in the rolls.

B. They weren't close to good condition.

C. All were 40s and 50s.

The only outright dishonest thing might be if there really were less than 50 coins per roll. He did say they were Fair to Great condition. While "great" doesn't have a specific numismatic meaning, "fair" sure does. It is the second worst grade you can give a coin. All the ones in that picture appear to be at least fair.

It is misleading, but that's what these roll sellers do. No one sells legitimately unopened rolls. They get a bunch of cents, look through for anything really valuable and keep it. Then they roll up the non-valuable ones with the occasional semi-key thrown in. By all means see if he'll do anything for you, but it really deserves a neutral at best, not a negative. I feel like if I can't see exactly what I'm buying that I don't want it. They can't bait and switch on a listing where they show the actual coins for sale, or if they do you have a very legitimate case against them.

Getting non-positive feedback is one way that these sellers get punished for stating in the listing what has supposedly been found in other rolls, then not delivering a roll with similar coins.

However, the seller makes no promise that you will get what they found in other rolls.

If you got 49 wheat cents, and you got a guarantee of 50 cents, you got shorted 1˘. Is this significant? Really?

FREE ADVICE: Don't buy rolls of wheat cents on ebay. If you need a specific date, buy that date. There are no sellers that are going to sell rolls that REALLY might contain valuable coins. There are a LOT of sellers that are trying to make a profit off of selling common date wheat cents my implying that the roll has miraculously escaped being stripped of the valuable coins.

To me it looks like a small amount to pay for a good lesson.

Lesson is ... Don't buy these rolls
