Be sure to hang on to some good scans that could be included in the 30th edition. Not sure who they would be sent to.
Might want to post it on the CPMF forums as well to see what kind of response you get.
Somewhat difficult to make out but is that 1691294 & 1701009?
Oh, and welcome to the Family!

It's evident that the sheet that produced this bill was put through the numbering press twice. It's possible that this was a setup sheet that somehow managed to make it's way into circulation. If this is the case, there would be more of them out there as they were run I believe 40 up on a sheet.

Thanks guys, yeah I have a few pics I can upload if you need to see more. Yeah I work at a PayDay Loan store so this bill came in a bank bundle from our Bank, and I usually look for unusual bills when I seen this one. I even found a $20.00 Polymer the next day serial numbered to BSE0000003 that I bought for face value. The one perk I get working at this place is the opportunity to find rare bills.

I don't know how serial numbers are done for bills in any country, so explain this please. It looks like 1691009 over 1701294. That's a difference of 10285. Surely there weren't ~10000 bills printed in between rerunning this sheet?

Here are my 3 multiple serial number errors... I purchased the £20 triple serial number note in early 2006 from the person that received it at the ATM.. He mentioned that since he has no interest in collecting, he wanted to see what the value is and listed it on ebay.(UK).. Not being a collector, he advertised it in the wrong category and listed it as a double serial number.. When I received it I noticed it was actually a Double serial number error, marked with Inspectors blue rejection marker and removed (wrinkles from rapid removal confirm this), then somehow ended up back in the production line where it received a 3rd set of numbers over the Inspectors rejection marks.. After having it Certified, I contacted The Bank of England for their input.. The email reply shows the results from their investigation, and necessary changes required so no rejected sheets end up back in the production line.. The Coin World article is from Feb. 2009 and in the last 10 years no 2nd error note from the 40 subject sheet has been confirmed.. In 2007 I purchased the 2 Pakistan double serial number error notes, and held off on Certification as I thought it was a common error.. When I found no more listings since 2007, I sent it to PMG in 2016.. I should add the "E" over "D" Prefix is the only multi-block serial number error note I've ever seen.. Have you considered getting your note Certified?

Interesting that Broken-Coin's example also appears to have ~10000 between printings - looks like 456006 over 445007.

Hi Everyone, found this double serial number on a Canadian $50 bill. it looks like it was stamped over with all 9's. Also the brail in one section is double stamped. Think it's worth more that $50 haha?

My question on this is why are the letters AMA also not overprinted. If it went through the press twice, the letters would also show. Also why are the overprinted numbers all 9's?
Like to hear from some of our more knowledgeable collectors on this one.
