Sorry if my terms are incorrect, but my understanding was that Haxby was a catalogue for Modern and Obsolete Counterfeits. Or is that category just one section/part of a Haxby catalogue?

Thanks.

Doctor Haxby is a most prolific numismatic author, researcher, and historian. Decades ago Dr. Haxby compiled a four volume tome
on US Obsolete Bank Notes which, still today, remains as the industry reference / identification standard. I suspect some may be
confusing the varied subject matters inked by the same master.

I have the Charlton 2012 catalogue and really like it but not a huge fan of the non-color pictures. Does an newer version have color pictures?

I assume the Haxby release does, right? I am planning on getting that one as well since I see some very positive reviews of it on this thread.

When you receive it will you post a pic of a page or two? I have put it on my list for Christmas, but would like to see what it looks like inside. The bookstore was out. So not luck there.

Your welcome, and it is! I am going to have a lot of fun with this. Will use it as a guide to build the sets I like.
