Bryan - Lets see a pic of that 1907. I've only seen a couple and it always leaves me breathless.

its one of the few coins that never comes home with me, I will try and go to the bank next week sometime and get it out of the safety deposit box and snap a picture of it |

i wish it was going to be 34 mm instead of the 27 so it was the same size as the old double eagles but alas one can not argue with the mint

No tears would I shed if they eliminated Presidents from our coinage.
Especially FDR. In fact, I wish they would remove FDR!

Jbuck....... I'm assuming you watched the "John Adams" special on HBO Sunday night. Directed by Tom Hanks I believe....your quote from Ben Franklin was used in one scene ! It does send chills down one's spine .....and so facinating how these founding fathers "hammered out' the Declaration of Independance, the stuff they went through, the politics, etc. etc........the way all of this translates to some of our "coinage" is pretty neat and special. _______________________________________________________________________________ As far as the St. Gaudens......I'm first curious about the "price" ! If it's affordable...then I'll get it....what a beautiful PROOF coin that will be !.....WOW ! Is it bad of me to hope that the gold price TANKS and drops into the bucket, in time "before" the mint begins making these coins and settles on what price to charge the public ?...  ..  It'll follow the "market", obviously, so.....let's collectively "hope" on that one ! Edited by eaglefoot

Nope, I forgot to set the DVR and missed the beginning. I thought about watching the west feed, but it is not in HD. I did set my DVR to get it, so it should catch the encore, if not, I did see it was available on HD-VOD. |

Paul Giamotti is becomming known as a world class actor (actually already that!) And I think he's got a lot of incredible work in the years ahead of him, but this is certainly 5 out of 5 stars for me.....very good !
Each Sunday night is the next new episode right ?

Of course.......but that place seems "rarely visited" by even those who "post" there !.......regardless.....count me in ! forgot to watch on Sunday night for the second episode (3/23/08) Jbuck........I've been sick with a cold ! Was it good ?  Edited by eaglefoot
