As you can see this a 611 $5 (Lincoln) Gettysburg PA "The Gettysburg National Bank" Note. I would love to have the same bill even in a lower grade from the "First National Bank of Gettysburg 311" but I think they are far out of my price range.

What's not to like about Gettysburg, unless your name is Lee!

Only 12 of the 265 chartered national banks in the state of Missouri issued value back notes.Boyer & Beaghler were in office together for 1906 to 1924.

Most attractive for the grade and a tough bank to boot.

Nice note. All original with signatures still there.. Somewhat. Also signed by the assistant cashier, which is always fun to see.

Mikev50...
Nice Dallas FRBN $20! That is one of my favorite series and banks.
Little known factoid —— FRB governor BA McKinney also has his signature appear on some National Bank notes from Durant, Oklahoma! Buckner Abernathy McKinney was born in McKinney, Texas and was a relative of Collin McKinney. Buckner was the original name of the 1st settlement in Collin County, Texas. The Buckner community was located approximately 2 miles northwest of present day downtown McKinney. Lots of history in that name!
