If this is truly for sale in Italy, and you can get it for a basement price, then do so... If its a few thousand euros, get a loan....

Thanks for the answers, unfortunately is not mine. I will advice the owner to send the coin for certification, I think is the best thing to do.

Make sure the owner knows its a $50k+ coin.... send it via UPS or Fedex with their custom critical service and lots and lots of insurance.

Pricing. Make sure he uses PCGS only. Now if its less than MS64 it could be a $20k coin. But it depends on variety and the grade you get.... could be a $100k+ coin with right grade....

Coin is definitely not MS, I would say XF-AU range.
