Somethig looks odd. 2 looks large and oddly shaped ad the date in not evenly spaced. Too much room between the 3 and the 8. What does it weigh? Does it have a good ring to it?

Sorry, I am new to posting (so I hope I'm not violating any rules) but I checked the photo versus photos of 28-S's on Heritage and although the date looks suspicious, the spacing of the numbers appears consistent with the Heritage examples. If it is not a fake, it's a great find. Others here are better graders than me but the obverse certainly seems AU.

Looks EF to me. I don't know why anyone would fake a 28S? There are known fakes of 28D and there are also small and large mint mark variaties.
