 BiggDaddE -- you're probably right. Numismedia shows XF40 collector prices from 35 to 63 cents, depending upon the mint. I find the prices on Numismedia to be a little high.

I have about 100 steel pennies ranging from Ugh to hmmm to NICE! LOL! and the first time I saw the reprocessed one, I thought it was a proof. But no proofs were made, so yeah, felt a bit stupid but we all learn as we go. But it sure does look nice though.

I also have a reprocessed steely. My wife got it for me years ago and it's just been sitting in my "waiting to be put in a binder" box. I didn't know until this thread that it wasn't original. Thanks dd27!
