I find it interesting that the ANACS MS-63 is in better condition than the PCGS MS-64. Shows you that PCGS is not the strictest, most consistent grafing service like the market hype says it is.

This also shows just how useless the TPG's are.

They look accurately graded, nice for the grade and fairly priced. You chose nicely struck examples. Good examples of "Buy the coin and not the holder."

I apologize. I misread the post. I thought the 1881 S was certified by PCGS.

I still thing the MS-63 looks nicer than the MS-64.

I see a donut of abrasions around the cheek of the 63. Subtle, but there.

See, the strike on the 1886 is weaker. The scratches on the cheek on the 1886 are also pretty deep.

The luster on the 1886, when I compare them in hand is a bit dull compared to the 1881 s also. I also picked this one up for $160. I made a post on it 3 days ago.
