I started off with Gardmaster albums - available by mail from Gatewest in Winnipeg, Manitoba or Collectors Supply House in Paris, Ontario. There might be someone selling them in USA.

I am liking the toning on that 1973 Silver Dollar. Beautiful colours on the obverse, very subtle, as compare to the multi-coloured Jackson Pollock style reverse. Really nice coin. The Blue Velvet Deluxe Case put out by J&M a few years back is sometimes found in private sales. Looks nice full of coins. Out of stock I think but here is a link to the webpage; http://goccf.com/t/71559 https://www.jandm.com/script/getite...D=15&PID=159

Darth: I think you did well with the coins... the value guide as mentioned before is off... but I still think you did well with the quality of coin and eye appeal.

The bottom coin looks like a nickel dollar, it appears smaller.

Silver has reverse rim beads, nickel has reverse rim denticles. Bottom one is Nickel PL.

Do the TPGs sometimes not indicate "Silver" or "Ag" on the holders for the specimens? Just curious; some I saw on ha.com the prices seemed kind of high for nickel versions, but I'd have to go back and look through them again.

The Gardmaster albums look very nice. I assume Dansco either has never made one or they are currently out of production. I haven't been able to find a single example, but the Gardmaster albums have a look all their own. Thanks for the information. Of course, that blue velvet case that SilverDon linked to looks very nice as well- very regal.

If you end up with a lot of hard slabs or encase your coins in Lighthouse slabs, this Lighthouse case is nice too.

Depending on the range of toning, I have seen these coins have quite a premium. Your coins are very nice, and for quite a good price as well!! Good job! From your Northern Neighbor!

Thank you! I had the pleasure of including a '72 (Nickel) dollar and a '73 RCMP silver dollar in my Secret Santa gift this year. Both were raw and toned even more than these. Needless to say, Cascade loved them.

I sent a 1982 Constitution Canadian nickel dollar PCGS MS-65 in my Secret Santa gift this year... to an American collector whom they said it was their first Canadian dollar... gotta spread the love with the nickel dollars!!

I love the nickel dollars. I think it's cool that they're 100% nickel.
