Although cleaned it does display the design elements well.

Definitely legit, odd-looking surfaces in these pics, but most likely messed-with if the color contrasts on both sides are accurate.

The photos are SOOO bad I'm reserving further judgement until I receive it. they tried to photograph it through a magnifying glass or loupe and that can cause ALL kinds of distortion - color included. Looks like the real Mcoy . plenty of original design , questionable color , and a few obverse hits . Reverse is very nice . Seems to be a little wear on this coin .

Looks like a nice authentic IHC. Cleaned, probably but I like it.

thanks T-Bop & Debra! It's shipped so hopefully I'll have it in a couple of days and can post some decent photos.

Got it in this morning. The color and shine get washed out by the flash... it made me crazy trying to get a good photo... it's MUCH more "coppery" in color than the photos look (you can see a bit of it on the obverse in the photo). Any idea on grade?

Thanks T-Bop, it bugs me that my camera wont capture the color my eyes see. The coin is much more coppery red than the photos show. I think the flash washes it out. I may try tomorrow to take a photo outside under sunlight and see if the color comes through more truly.

If you can turn off the flash. If you can't tape a card or something over the flash. Then just use external lighting.

I bet you are happy to see that the coin didn't have big dark red splotches on it like shown in the seller's photos.

I was able to take photos using my new Digital microscope and though I couldn't QUITE get the whole coin in, it does show the color more accurately. it also is more perfectly focused so you can see the surface of the coin better. Thanks again for looking, Blair
