Blow it up full size, you can see the scratch on the holder from the G of PCGS down to the 6 of the .61 grade.

I agree w/ And Tdrew9, not a MS anything, overgrade by few points. If you get into toned coins...

If that coin were not toned, you might not even notice that it has some wear. This is what collectors might call an AU-61. It's market grading, and you can accept it or not. To me a bunch of bags and poor eye appeal is a bigger sin than a light rub.
I'm not head over heals in love with this coin. I would not bid on it, but some people might because of its originality.

Sorry not a fan of these types of pics. Added to my list that includes Stacks and David Lawrence. I think I'm spoiled by Heritage's zoom in feature. I've bid on a couple of their auctions but NOT with conviction.

And yes I know you can enlarge the pics but the photos look doctored. Heritages has the superior platform and I've spent a lot of money on their coins. Not once, did I ever receive a coin that I felt I had been duped on.

Great Collections Auctions are pretty decent overall. The photos are more than adequate for me to determine whether to bid on this coin (I wouldn't, by the way, just because I don't like the coin).

MikeF- I cannot believe you think these are crap photos. Do you have any idea how incredibly difficult slabs are to photograph? Give it a try. Try to duplicate their crappy photos. IMO, they are the standard for slab images. Heritage? Meh. Nothing to get excited about.
Whenever I buy from GC the coin I receive ALWAYS matches their photo- every time.
I want you to show us one of YOUR slab photos. I'm sorry, but your assertion is ridiculous.

I'd say 95% or more of the coin photos on ebay are worse than this example. It does take two clicks to see it at full size, but you then see a 1500 x 1954 sharply focused well lit image. I completely fail to see the problem with these photos. Is Great Collections a "picture site"?

With great difficulty, I can come close to reproducing the Heritage photos with my rig. It has everything to do with lighting and not so much with the quality of the camera. I have a new respect for anyone that can take these sort of pictures with this level of detail and contrast.
