Excellent example of a tough variety. Also looks like an OMM, but that may be die subsidence. Love the VLDS with the flowlines, clear trails, and right wing crack. I find it interesting that neither of the two usual obverse cracks for this series are present, although it looks like the lower bust crack may be there but perhaps has been covered up a bit by the extensive die polishing.

Not re-engraved. Just a case of a VLDS die that struck this coin. The heavy die flow is obvious.

My opinion would be that OP's coin is a later die state strike from the modified/re-engraved dies, where die erosion has weakened the area in question again. Traces of the die gouges, i.e. the re-engraving, can still be seen in the gap below the bottom arrow shaft, faint, but present.

The location of the mint mark does match the correct die number. All I could see was the heavy die flow on this one. I was not aware of the re-engraving on this die. (I know it now)

Sorry Coop. But you're wrong. It is a re engraved die. I looked on the link and it matches it. You're only right on one thing. That is the coin being in a Very Late Die State (VLDS)

I guess just to clarify, Onedollarbillnut's coin is not the one I started this thread with ( Nice coin you have there! )
I still have mine and have not sent it anywhere.
