Congratulations, bpoc1!
And congratulations to herbaby, the winner (via tiebreaker*) of Guess the Price - Season 60!
This Season is dedicated to our friend, COINAHOLIC. Gone, but not forgotten. Raise a glass!
New Players! qaman
Now Casting Season 63! We need three more volunteers for Season 63! If you have a coin that you would like to volunteer, you may submit it at any time!
Please note: If you have never corresponded with me, please use the forum e-mail function to request my e-mail address.* The Tiebreaker was between herbaby, nickelsearcher, and spruett001. Determination came down to the fourth tiebreaker rule. Since nickelsearcher submitted a coin for this season, he had no winning round to judge for accuracy. Herbaby made an exact guess to win round 8, while spruett001 was just the closest guess to win round 2.

Wow! jbuck Is the N a shallow or bold N ? This is a great guessing game but you new players need to check the Red Book. Sometimes there are clues but .....lady luck seems to be the winner.

Great game. Thanks Jbuck!
I have a few I can put into the game Jbuck, if you need to fill slots in the next few rounds.

Quote: Wow! jbuck Is the N a shallow or bold N ? I assume bold. I really do not know as I do not collect any IHC varieties. Quote: When is Season 61? I look forward to participating. Congratulations bpoc1 on the Round 10 win! Congratulations to Season 60 Champion herbaby! This is nit-picky for a game with no real prizes but, shouldn't I be in second? Anyway, better luck to the rest of us in Season 61 and thank you jbuck for everything you do!

Congrats to the wieners ! On that last one, I knew the value of the coin but thought maybe it was a cherry pick or something. Nice Injun for that year. See ya in Season 61 !

Quote: This is nit-picky for a game with no real prizes but, shouldn't I be in second? You are tied for second (silver) with nickelsearcher. The tiebreaker rules are only applied when assigning round and season winners. All runners-up can have ties (which is why some rounds have five instead of four). For every season there is always only one gold, but this one we have two silver and three bronze. Look at the Hall of Fame images here. The numbers are for the season. You will see you have earned your first medal. Hopefully it is not the last.

aw shucks
Thanks for the contest, jbuck! Just out of curiosity I went back to the start of this contest (July 2008) and was surprised to see it was started by DL20K. When did you start doing it and could you imagine this longevity?

I took over starting with what is called the Second Season (the second thread). The original thread ("First Season") had more than one set of rounds in it and was a bit different than how it is run now. The current version of GTP started with Season 19. Honestly, I thought it would have died long before the revamp in Season 19 because we had gaps in the rounds waiting for the next coin. Starting with that season I have relied on coins being submitted ahead of time. As long as I can stay a season ahead, we can go forever.
