2017 Australia $2 Coin Lest We Forget

So much for The Royal AUSTRALIAN Mint doing something about these "Drop" Sellers on ebay.

Just did a search and CCF is now searchable for this coins info.

Maybe you switched on Australian collectors can post rip off warnings here. Seeing that this type of info is common knowledge on that other forum as I am told. Why was the info not posted here?

just so as you know, the ACF does have a public forum section, it's just a matter of getting people to post in there.

I have had notification from the RAM, that my $2 coins have been shipped.

Yes I saw that section of ACF and yes it is a bit light on with info.

The big issue for me is about searching important cutting edge mint release info etc. This info seems to be at a high level on ACF but it is hidden. It seem to be only for a small amount of collectors a sellers/dealers.

To me it looks like the search engines find CCF info very quickly.

Members of ACF look to me to be at the cutting edge of new Australian mint releases and see there insights as..... this quote from this thread sums it up nicely.




If it was a big deal on ACF why not post something here for the Australian coin collectors on CCF and any coin collector in the world concerning searching? I do believe that the CCF forum is a very well set up one for the info here to be found very quickly by a google search. Sometimes we do not see the obvious because we are to close to the issue and this is very possibly what has happened here . I do not believe that the members in the know here have done this with intent. It is just something that happens.

I saw it posted in the ACF forum on the evening of the 21st and went straight over the to RAM site and ordered them. About 5pm to 6pm western time. Then later I noticed the $1 coins were available too and went back and placed another order. Wish I'd seen them both before I ordered, would have saved some postage. No notification about the $1 coins yet.

I did notice that there wasn't a thread on CCF, but I was waiting for someone more senior to create it, because I felt that it was unnecessary to have two different threads on the same topic.

I've tried doing that with my noodling stats, but it's a real pain to monitor them both simultaneously, so I thought it might be best to have only one thread about the new $2 coin.

I just assumed that anyone who was truly interested would have signed up to ACF, because I didn't realise that anyone was philosophically opposed to that.

I give you my sincere apologies, and I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen again in future.
