Being a gardener myself, I have researched bonsai and you need a lot of patiencefor this type of hobby. Can you post some pics of your bonsai trees?
The only bonsai I have attempted was a simple jade plant, which is doing quite well

I also attempted Bonsai a few years ago. I am not sure if it is harder or not since we have harsh winters in Michigan and the bonsai needed to be an indoor plant during that time.

But let just say I did a ficus tree and now it is a ficus stick.

Thanks again for the contest.

ficus stick
Those plants are too sensitive to drafts, leaves dropping all the time, mine also ended up sick figure like.

When it hits 55 degrees, all my indoor plants, which I take outside during summer, come inside

I may make an attempt to post some bonsai pictures. It takes forever to get anything that looks really good, so most of mine are in the formative stages. I do have a couple that might make a decent picture.

I'm glad the package got there OK, I always worry about the mail. I still need coppernickeldaddy's address, so if anyone knows how to contact him please ask him to contact me.

trdhrdr007:

My package arrived yesterday. Thank you for your generosity

I am very excited about the tokens. Just so you know, I have been starting a genealogy project to pass down to my daughters. I am going to try to make an album with family tree information, but converge it into my coin hobby and maybe add some stamps etc. I think it will add history to the tree.

Part of my wife's family was originally from Alabama, so the tokens you sent are going to be predominately displayed in that section of the album.

Thanks again for the contest...

Ken

I'm happy to hear the prizes I sent didn't get lost in the mail. Now if I could only figure out how to get coppernickeldaddy's address I could wrap this up.

That's pretty cool about the genealogy project. I can see where adding items to it would make it more interesting for all.

I didn't have my email address enabled in my profile; I should be able to be contacted now. If it isn't let me know in either this post or the other one requesting my contact info. Thanks!
