In a world of so many collectors worshiping slabbed coins (which I have no interest in, thank you :) )
and where the pocketbook often determines a collector's prominence in the hobby, I certainly appreciated the challenge factor in putting together a classic low ball collection.

to the Community!

I think they look great.

Honest, circulated low ball coins are more difficult that most think.

I also have a PO 1 1859 S Half. I will bring it to ANACS soon to see if they can confirm.

I'd love to see pictures. Just to see which one is more worn, mine or yours.

The coin looks much better in hand. I just took quick pictures and didn't turn on all the lighting.

Nice coin!

However, mine looks a bit more worn. Unfortunately, I can't post pictures now. I will post them later today, so stay tuned.

I'll see if mine will make PO 1. I live so close to ANACS, sometimes I'll just bring in coins to ask for grade opinions from their graders, which is free.

I think we've lost the OP, and for that I take full responsibility and apologize to all.
