The funny thing is I got this from a bankbox from my local bank. It was from Citizens Bank.

Update: I gave my 1984 DDO a soak in Acetone for 3-4 hours then I took it out. Here are the results. It looks very beautiful, nice, and shiny.

That's excellent and I would be proud to own it! I don't think it is quite worth getting graded, but close.

Thank you spruett! Anyone would be proud to own it. I have no plans on sending it off to get graded anyway, because I don't want to pay a fortune and I wouldn't want to risk it getting lost in the mail. It will stay in my home sweet home safe collection.

It looks nicer after it's bath. It is worthy of an Air-Tite capsule.

Awesome find! This is probably one of my most favorite coins. When I found one in a change jar at church, it really pushed me into the hobby again. Great results from the acetone!

Thank you John1, Buckwill311, shotgung, grateful ad, and Tunnioc! I was very happy with the results from the Acetone bath. It looks so much better now than it did before. I have placed it in a new non PVC coin flip.

WOW now thats a great score, Never found one and I'm glad to see you found one. I think these coins look awesome in RB and Brn, it throws that doubling out like a slap to the senses. What did you say or exclaim whaen you put the loop on it? was it Shazzam?

Thank you Stoneman and luvmyCAM. I love seeing coins in red brown color! When I put my loupe on it, I said "Holy @#$&$#@ $@#@"! (Not allowed to say). I said those bad words because I was so amazed and shocked finding it in circulation!

Thank you Giwalsh! This is something you almost never find in circulation! I got very lucky finding this. This is one of my favorite finds.
