Effective immediately the Knights of the Coin Table are going underground until we can find a world collector forum where we can post openly.
***Will also note, at this time, we were asked to remove the words "Coin Community Forum" from our 2006 Wooden dollars and I have been in contact with the manufacturer to change the art work when it arrives. The reverse will now read "Collecting World Wide"! I feel it would be important to post this information for ALL to read. Also will say right now the initials of CC will remain on the Knights shield to signify "COIN COLLECTOR"! Effective with this post we are in no way, shape, or form, nor have ever been affiliated with Coin Community Forum or being sponsored by such!
Tis not the end, but a beginning!
Last but not least, we intend to find out!

I'm sorry I haven't been able to post very much to the forum lately, but health issues have prevented me from staying as informed as I should have. I think it's important to clarify the position of Coin Community in relation to any private clubs. Personally, I think the Knights of the Coin Table is an excellent idea and wish nothing but the best for the club. As your club grows, we can provide a completely private forum for your members. For those of you who also post on Coin Talk, this would be the same as the sections they have set up for the Ocala Coin Club and WINS. Also, posting in the open forum with "Knight of the Coin Table" and A.O.D. in signature lines is perfectly fine. Even posting about the club itself and recruiting members from our community is also perfectly acceptable. The issue is that Coin Community cannot sponsor individual clubs as this, in essence, creates cliques within our community. I know that it is a fine line, but it is important that Coin Community stay impartial and objective. In essence, Coin Community is its own club. To sponsor clubs within that club creates factions within our community that will make other forum members feel that they are being left out. This is certainly not a feeling we want to promote and I know that none of you want that either. It is for this reason that Coin Community cannot be put on the club badges. On a personal level, I love the idea of the Knights of the Coin Table club and it looks like this club is growing well. I have thoroughly enjoyed the posts being made and will continue to do so. If any of you have any questions about this, please email me. The last thing I ever intended was to cause ill will or negative feelings. It is important to me that this be cleared up as soon as possible. My email address is susan@coincommunity.com

I would like to announce that thekidcollector has been accepted as Knight #9 for his dedication to collecting world coins and sharing all aspects of the hobby. This young man has traded with a great number of collectors world wide and has done it in a professional manner and with great enthusiasm for the hobby and nothing but respect for all involved!

The Knights have been resurrected
If you read previous post you may have thought the knights have gone underground. Then as you can see a new knight has been appointed.
So in the Spirit of Christmas The Knights have risen again
St. George has slain another dragon Welcome home Knights

If you have read this you might have thought the Knights were struck down, but if you continue reading this forum, you will see from later posts the knights are alive and well St. George

Could not afford to quit as it would throw the whole Australian economy into chaos!!! The people of Australia have been saved by the Knights of the Coin Table and they probably will never know it! How could you NOT love a group like that?

Pitance!
Not based on my coin budget.
Most of it went to shore up the Aussie economy.

I thought we WERE the Australian economy and we have to blame rggoodie and lim118 don't we? Reckon they are agents for the Australian government working on commission? Perhaps one of them is really MERLIN!

Just a quick update on the first annual Knights of the Coin Table limited edition wooden dollars! After mind exhausting seconds of thought the reverse of the upcoming, soon to be released, 2006 wooden dollar will read "WORLD WIDE COLLECTOR" instead of the previously announced "Collecting World Wide" as this should make this unique undertaking just a little more personal and explain why you have it? Hope this suits all you Knights out there? Now for all you inspiring non-Knights out there if you collect world coins we would like to hear from you. Are requirements are pretty strict for acceptance in to this organization. You must collect world coins (darksider), enjoy sharing the knowledge and history of countries collected (Ambassador of the Darkside) and frequent this forum on a regular basis! More info will be coming as the Jan. 15th release date for the wooden dollar approaches. At this time the Knight will receive his/her first wooden dollar as a gift from the Realm of the Darkside with their official Knight membership/serial number on it. Will make arrangements to sell extras or auction extras as needed. Other items are currently in the planning stages so stay tuned and keep those collections growing!!!
