Thanks for posting @TNG. I was in Scotland recently, but did not see this sort of thing. Stone rings yes, but coin trees? Nope. This is a good reason to go back.

And I was also told by my dad that money doesn't grow on trees!
My collection would have much bigger than it is now, had I known differently.

My student's had their prom at a Dude ranch and I found quite a few embedded in the wooden building posts. Interesting trend. Anyone know the story behind it?
