Congrats on having your coin appear in two great texts. Mitchiner's books are high on my want list but well out of my price range. Just to be able to have access to one would be a thriller to me. You have a superb collection.

Oh wow, that's pretty darn cool! That sure is a name you see frequently on the attributions isn't it? I don't think I have any plate coins in my collection at all (unless wildwinds counts)....but it would be a AWESOME surprise to bump into one some day like you did!

Wow Bob, that is a fantastic coin. Congrats on having such an important coin in your superb collection. There is something special about having a coin from such an important reference. I know that I shall not willingly part with my RIC or Dattari plate coins.

Bob,
That is a SWEET reward for simply doing some research!
I get excited when I find a die match in a published reference!
I cannot imagine the feeling of discovering a coin is a plate coin!

Oh, bobbit, if only your name was Mary I could have said, "Thank you, Peter, Paul, and Mary" in response to the last three posts.
As it is, thank you Peter, Paul, and Damion. Not quite the same ring...But seriously, I appreciate the comments.

You know you have a special coin when *two* experts in the field had to seek out the same example for their books!
Congrats on a fun find!
