I'm not sure if it's wear or weakly struck on some areas of this coin . Obverse ribbon to bottom of hair , Buffalo's head and bottom of shoulder . AU-63+

I couldn't tell if there was any luster breaks from those pics.
But I can see the strike was a bit light.
-- flat horn
-- flatness on the shoulder hair
Without seeing any luster breaks I would have guessed MS-64.

I don't see any breaks in the luster. My grade would've been MS-63. But the pics aren't the best to grade from.

Yeah, based on the first set of pictures I would have said AU-55, second set MS-63 which is indicative of how hard it is to grade from pictures alone.

I just sent a half dozen Buffalos to ANACS and got the results, they will come home Tuesday but I over estimated every one of them by quite a bit. I think ANACS is pretty tough on Buff.

Thanks very much for the continued feedback. The second opinions and set of eyes are my reality checks. I'm almost tempted to resubmit it to another TPG but it really won't be worth it.
