That's one of the worst fakes I've ever seen.

Look at it for 5 seconds and compare it to mine.

The difference is self explanatory but to CCF!

@pragash, the reason why so many of us are able to identify your coin as being fake is by the difference in the details. For example, as you look at the real coin above (or the one in my link), pick out a specific detail. For example, the digit 9 in the date. On your piece the bottom portion extends beyond the top loop whereas on the authentic coin that is not the case. You should be able to make out differences for nearly every detail, whether it is the shape of the individual letters and numbers, the shield, the feathers, the stars, the leaves, or the arrows. yes your piece has the overall general shape of the design, but it is impossible for your piece to be real due to all the differences in the fine detail.

I think that some of the answers that you got were a bit short because of the magnitude of the difference between a real coin and your fake. Does that help?

What would you say is the grade of your 1799 coin? Would it be a VF+ coin?

@Pragash .... Hold your fake coin to a magnet? It's likely attracted and not even silver.

BTW .... Welcome to the CCF, a fine place to gain numismatic knowledge. Books are good, too!

Would you say your coin is in the $5000 range? There is a fine line between a high grade VF coin and a EF40, but what about price? I like your example. Your coin is a Heraldic Eagle Reverse, am I right? Great coin!

Wow, Rm6000 is about $1,400 USD. That's terrible.
