CREDIT SWISH? How many of you didn't notice this? It is probably not even silver or any valuable metal.

Good to know, any suggestions on where to take it to find out? Value is not as important to me as the story behind it.

I agree with @nss-52--looks like these are typically silver plated and have no intrinsic value. Still a nice story--thanks for posting!

Excuse me ,but if were made of an alloy and not silver it would have come out of the ground in a lot worse condition . Could be a VERY OLD 10 gram silver bar ? OP> take it to a gold and silver shop or coin shop , they will tell you within seconds .

I beleive it is part of a souvenir keychain. Notice at the top there is a tab with a hole for a key ring. I have never seen a real Gold or Silver bar with a tab to carry your keys. I have seen a few of these souvenirs before but for some reason when I try to Google it, nothing comes up. Anybody here believe in the Mandela effect?

Sounds along the same line as giving your girlfriend a fake diamond, this was a child's necklace pendant! SWISH! Either that or a cheap lady of the evenings jewelry...

@t-bop, thank you for your kind words and yes, sorry for being so vigorous with my disagreement.
