So do I gather Tickscoins that you are the poster of said ad? If that's the case, I am sorry that you had to see us all have some fun at your expense. In my experience, someone who lists coins like those for such prices, will not be inviting to being educated. If that is you, you break the stereotype, and you have come to learn. In short order you will be on the other side of this equation, and probably chuckle when you see an ad like that.

Tick, I did reach out, below is my actual email & heads up.
I love old coins, I'm a long time collector, but you'll never sell at these asking prices. I hope you can take some ridicule. Best of luck, Ron

Yes, I am the creator of the said ad. Ron, I appreciate all you have told me and I have spoken of it to many people and I can't thank you enough for the information you have given me. That's why I'm here to learn. With that said, there were only 2 of you that either called me or worte me emails regarding the listing and for that I am grateful. Those listed prices were prices that my father wanted me to post and now I know better. I have a lot more that need to be listed.

Deceptive people won't do well in the CCF family. I post this to express what I feel is best for CCF members. Sometimes being all polite and tolerant has it's limits. I stick my neck out and say what I really feel about this. Tickscoins writes: Quote: Some people instead of criticizing would contact this person and talk to them, but because you obviously know more then this person you choose to pick the ad apart instead of reaching out. That my friends is what's wrong with the world today! Just saying "this person" Tickscoins writes: Quote: Yes, I am the creator of the said ad. I think that being honest from the start instead hiding the fact that "this person" was actually the seller would have made a better impression. Besides that, at this posting, I don't see any effort to revise the Craigslist advert at all, or to anything close to reality. It is no different than it was on 11/07/17. Posting nonsense on Craigslist is going to get reaction like this. That my friends, is what is wrong with the world today!

@TNG. I have to agree. Until the ad is charged, Susan aka tickscoins has not shown a very honest side. It appears, however, that she was posting these for her father, and he assigned the prices. Hard to judge a person in such a scenario. A sticky spot to be in, if that's indeed what is happening here. Selling at those prices would be borderline criminal....

Good god guys! If she's here to learn, then let her learn. Skip the drama and give the benefit of the doubt. It's kind of hard to judge someone off of 4 posts.

Tickscoins, sincerely apologize if comment bothered you. They all hold the truth tho, we see this constantly, almost everyday there are posters here with similar items/pricings. I too am one to contact sellers on ebay of "so-called" errors coins which are nothing more than intentionally damaged coins being pawned off to unsuspecting folks for megabucks. So far my track record of response is paltry at best. Of over 200 contacts I have received less than 10 replys, some have removed listings, others said they would accept my offer of assistance( of which I am still waiting). Many here have called it a "fool's errand", just may be, but keep doing it anyway. So please don't take personal offense.

I see crazy ads on CL all the time, and yes I do share them here from time to time. I didn't do this to ridicule or incite the CL poster, but apparently one of the CCF posters here chose to do that by contacting and sharing this original post. I hope you made your point by doing so, and I sure hope you feel better.

@Tickscoins,
Sorry that we had some fun at your expense. As for the ad, you probably will not sell any coins at those prices. There are many dealers and collectors here at CCF who can give you reasonable selling prices for individual or group of coins.
Put some of them here and maybe we all can help and learn at the same time. After all, you ID is Tickscoins.
Good luck!

Here you go 1895 Liberty (Barber) Quarter $1500 Lets say it's F15 value is roughly $301853 Sitting (Seated) Quarter $250 in AG3 grade it is a type coin and worth maybe $61901 Barber quarter $5000 maybe VF35 value is maybe $381903 Barber quarter $700 Damaged low grade value is less than $51820 Coronet Liberty Head Large Cent Penny NGE $1500Small date 2 over 1 ( actually lists as a 20 over 19 ) Value may be around $301943 Silver Wheat penny $500 Commonly found in higher grades with issues like this $31955 S Lincoln Penny $200 A pretty nice coin even if it is MS 65 it is still worth at best $101900 Barber quarter $2000 value is less than $5 and it grades AG3 1927 Standing Liberty quarter $50,000 ( I'm seeing it as a 1927 D with a mintage of 976,000 ) at very best it is VF35 worth maybe $75 1901 Indian Head penny $500 ( is actually a 1907 ) which is in XF45 condition is about an $8 coin 1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat penny $500 Can't see the VDB but it might be there. It is maybe XF and worth perhaps $81909 VDB Lincoln Wheat penny $500 ( no 2 ) This one looks better worth maybe $101909 VDB Lincoln Wheat penny $500 ( no 3 ) as well $101909 Lincoln Wheat penny $350 worth maybe $61909 Lincoln Wheat penny $350 ( no 2 ) worth maybe $31906 Indian Head $500 Perhaps a $8 coin 1900 Indian Head penny $750 Damaged worth maybe $1 1900 Liberty Head Nickel $2000 Maybe F15 worth about $10 but very common. 1900 British Half Penny $1000 ebay tells me yours is worth about $1.001864 Indian Head penny $1000 ( maybe L on ribbon ) If it's there it is maybe a $65 coin with corrosion or environmental damage 1880 Indian Head penny $1000 G4 ish worth $41889 Indian Head Penny $1000 $31909 Indian Head Penny $1000 Value $12Total asking $72,600 for what amounts to a liberal estimate of less than $350.00 in retail value. If you presented this lot in person to anyone that knows coins, you would be lucky to get half my rough estimate if there was any interest at all. I just did a quick amateur and rough appraisal from the difficult images at no charge. As long as the listing remains as it is with those prices on Craigslist, I have little else to say.
