Just discovered this revived thread. Fun! I figure my Poland collection is where I have the best chance of finding real "First-Last" or at least my personal first-lasts. 6 groszy of Stanislaus Poniatowski, KM# 215. Two year issue which makes it a bit easier. 1794: 1795, which coincidentally is the last year coins were struck by the Kingdom of Poland.

Next up, the 2 groszy coin of the same ruler, though in this case the date range is considerably larger, as KM#184 was struck most years from 1766-1786. The 1766: The 1786 (my coin, but photos of seller Rzeszowski Dom Aukcyny):

Scrolling back a century, the only affordable coins of Polish king Michael Korybut are ugly, debased schillings struck from 1670-1673 at several mints. Here are first, last and between:

Aw, c'mon. I would go with adjectives like "obscure" and "homely." Though according to Numista, I'm the only member with the 1670, and one of 2 with the 1671.
I need to rummage around for some more recognizable types, though I probably won't have the real "first and last."
